The British Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (BritCham Cambodia) has announced a fresh slate of appointments following its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the prestigious Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh on April 30, 2025. The meeting saw the confirmation of H.E. The British Ambassador as the Chamber’s Patron, alongside the election of seven new members to its Executive Committee (Board of Directors).

The newly appointed Board members are:

  • Tom Edwards
  • Jason Harrison
  • Martin McCarthy
  • Andrew Millar
  • Monypich Sou
  • Trevor Sworn
  • Ross Wheble

These individuals will join the existing members of the Board, including James Roberts, Matthew Rendall, Paul Dodd, and Ronald Almera, who continue in their leadership roles.

Enhance Events and Member Engagement Activities

The AGM also featured a significant organizational development with the announcement of a newly created position within BritCham Cambodia. Tom Starkey will be stepping into the role of Events Manager, working alongside Martin Darby, Executive Director, to further enhance the Chamber’s events portfolio and member engagement activities.

The announcement of the new Board members and leadership appointments reflects BritCham Cambodia’s continued commitment to advancing the interests of British businesses in Cambodia. With the addition of new leadership and a fresh events management structure, the Chamber is poised to bolster its services and activities, providing more value to its members.

The event also included a reflection on the successes of the past year, where BritCham Cambodia emphasized its role in supporting the expansion of British investment and trade in the Kingdom, while looking forward to a year of continued collaboration and growth.
