The International Business Chamber of Cambodia (IBC) has announced six nominees for four available seats on its Executive Committee, with elections set to take place during the IBC Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 12, 2025.
The six nominees for the 2025 Executive Committee elections are:
- James Roberts – Partner Advisory, KPMG Cambodia
- Cécile Dahomé – Chief Executive Officer, Sevea Consulting
- Currie Sun Min Lee – Head of Korea Desk, Bun & Associates
- Jonathan Goldsmid – Chief Executive Officer, IAAC Cambodia
- Sothearoath Oeur – Chief Executive Officer, Credit Bureau Cambodia
- Tola Ponlu – Chief Executive Officer, Prudential Cambodia
As per IBC’s constitution, a quorum of 50% of members, either attending in person or by proxy, is required for the meeting to proceed. Every IBC member in good standing—having paid their 2025 membership—is eligible to vote and receive a complimentary ticket to attend the AGM.
With six nominees competing for four available seats, the election process will determine which candidates will join the board for a two-year term, helping to shape IBC’s strategic direction, advocacy efforts, and member engagement. These roles are typically held by senior executives at the CEO or Managing Director level from member organizations.
IBC Executive Director Katherine McLean emphasized the significance of board participation. “Serving on the board is an opportunity to shape IBC’s role in Cambodia’s business landscape. If you would like to learn more about what is involved, I or any of the current board members would be happy to answer any questions.”
