As part of the Christmas Market held at Norea City on December 21st and 22nd, Green Oasis, in partnership with OCIC Group, Norea City, and Dara Hotels, organized a free community tree-planting activity. Under the slogan “Plant a Tree for Christmas,” this initiative encouraged residents, expats, and tourists to plant their tree for Christmas, and to commit to more greenery in our city.
By planting Cassia fistula, Samanea Saman, and Chompey trees in the picnic area, participants contributed to creating a more shaded and enjoyable space. This activity is part of a broader initiative by Green Oasis, which has already organized two similar events in Koh Pich in 2024 and continues its efforts internally within OCIC neighborhoods.
Following their contribution, participants enjoyed the festive atmosphere of the Christmas Market, which offered a variety of activities. Highlights included live acoustic music, creative and handicraft workshops, free outdoor movie screenings, and a variety of delicious treats, creating a memorable Christmas experience for all. Children were also delighted by a unique giant snow globe filled with artificial snow.
