The official launch of Influence Media in Phnom Penh marked a step towards transforming Cambodia’s marketing landscape and fostering further investment ties between Chinese and Cambodian enterprises. Hosted at the Grand Ballroom of PH Diamond Island, the event titled “Influence Release Conference: The Gateway to Diverse Marketing,” drew an eclectic mix of political, business, and entertainment figures, highlighting the venture’s broad sectoral appeal and its strategic objectives.

The event’s VIP attendee list featured: Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information of Cambodia; Princess Norodom Jenna of the Cambodian Royal Family; Chav In Tor, Chairman of Cambodia International Cooperation Department and Khmer Holding Group; and “Mr. Tommy”, Chairman of Liberty Group, indicating the high level of interest and support from various quarters of Cambodian society and beyond.

Neth Pheaktra’s speech underlined the Cambodian government’s commitment to supporting a diverse media ecosystem, positioning new entrants like Influence Media as pivotal in conveying Cambodia’s developmental narrative through innovative digital means. He emphasized the role of media in fostering a well-informed populace and expressed enthusiasm for the promotion of Cambodia’s culture and economic achievements on global platforms.

The leadership tea, which did not disclose their official Chinese names but went by their Western ‘nickname’ – “Mr. Tommy” outlined Influence Media’s comprehensive suite of services, designed to meet the evolving needs of brands in a digitally competitive environment. By offering solutions ranging from digital content creation to integrated marketing communications, Influence Media aspires to redefine marketing effectiveness and brand visibility in Cambodia. This initiative is part of a broader vision shared with Liberty Group, aiming at innovation and excellence in marketing services.

While “Mr. Amo”, the General Manager of Influence Media, detailed the company’s strategic approach to delivering custom marketing solutions, highlighting the launch of the INNEWS electronic newspaper and the Influence Booking platform. These tools are intended to facilitate direct engagement between brands and influential figures, enhancing brand recognition and audience reach.
