The Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC) and Platform Impact have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to launch an avant-garde Computer Programming School at the Connexion Community Hub, scheduled to launch in Q1 2024 on Phnom Penh’s Koh Pich (Diamond Island). Championed by Dr. Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the educational venture will be based on the ‘School 42’ project in Paris promises to be a cornerstone of tech education and digital empowerment in the region.

The MOU, formally signed in Paris on January 15th by Dr. Lim Lina of Canadia Group & OCIC and Wisal Win of Platform Impact, signifies a commitment to fostering a vibrant tech-educational ecosystem in Cambodia. The envisioned school is set to diverge from traditional educational pathways, offering tuition-free, peer-to-peer learning environments aimed at nurturing both technical and soft skills critical in the digital economy.
