The European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (EuroCham) has accepted Prince Holding Group – one of the largest and fastest-growing conglomerates in Cambodia – into its international business membership base.
Prince Holding Group has joined EuroCham as an Associate Corporate Member – this membership is for companies not registered in Europe, or founded by a European Citizen in Cambodia – they get all normal benefits but are not able to vote.
Gabriel Tan, Chief Communications Officer of Prince Holding Group said: “We are honored to be a part of EuroCham Cambodia and look forward to leveraging the experience, knowledge and networks of the association for the betterment of our various business units.”

Prince Holding Group links Cambodia to Europe through its philanthropic activities
One of Prince Holding Group’s most unique philanthropic activities is its world-leading horology (watchmaking) school located in Chroy Changva, Phnom Penh.
The school which Cambodia Investment Review recently toured was launched in 2019 after the Prince Holding Group invested in a state-of-the-art facility. Students have access to watchmaking machinery and know-how imported from Switzerland for the student’s educational development.
The school has recruited world-class and experienced educators Maarten Pieters and Jessica Thakur who were brought in from around the globe. Prince Horology has stated its school is one of the best Swiss watchmaking school outside Switzerland.
Tassilo Brinzer Chairman of EuroCham said: “Prince Horology is one of many projects that connects Cambodia to Europe and we are glad to welcome Prince Holding Group to the EuroCham family.”
“At EuroCham, we look forward to working with responsible enterprises that are looking to advance enterprise and build a bridge between Cambodia and the rest of the world,” he added.
In addition, to Prince Horology the Group finalized a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport (MoEYS) to launch the “Chen Zhi Scholarship” program for Cambodian university students.
Prince Holding Group will provide full tuition fees and stipends for 400 selected students to pursue their Bachelor of Science degree at top Cambodian universities including Royal University of Phnom Penh, National University of Management, and Institute of Technology of Cambodia.
In total, Prince Holding Group will provide over $2 million across seven years.
Prince Holding Group has outlined this work will assist the government to achieve it’s goals outlined in the Education Strategic Plan (2019-2023).
Prince Holding Group increases its international engagement
Prince Holding Group Chairman Chen Zhi has been increasing his Group’s international engagement recently being awarded the Global CSR Awards 2021, now in its 13th year. Prince Group was selected among some of the best companies from Asia, United Arab Emirates and Europe.
According to Prince Holding Group, the conglomerate oversees more than 80 businesses and possesses a diverse workforce with 20% of its employees hailing from places like Singapore, Malaysia and Greater China.
The Global CSR Awards 2021 is one of Asia’s most prestigious recognition awards program for corporate social responsibility and corporate governance.
EuroCham Cambodia was created in 2011 by the existing French, German and British business associations to act as the official chamber of the European business community in the Kingdom.
Since then, it has grown to over 330+ members and 6 national chapters, comprising 11 European countries. EuroCham Cambodia’s core activities.
The chamber was created are to promote, support and represent its members and European business interests in dialogue with the Royal Government of Cambodia, with the aim of developing a more efficient and fertile business and investment environment.
